Atheists believe in science... They rely on the little bit of "facts" that science has answered in our short existence as HUMAN BEINGS... The truth is, the Earth is OLD. Humans have only been around for a fraction of the Earth's existence. Someday, we may find out enough about our universe to answer what GOD is... But, as of now, we're not even close. We are a species that are so involved with ourselves, we are not taking the time to truly discover what's out there.

Serious answer: Atheists can and do believe in many different things. They are not united in any of those beliefs. The only thing that unites atheists also defines them:
They do NOT believe in any gods.

That's just the point. Atheists don't "believe". They just are, like rocks are but pots of gold at the end of the rainbow are not.

god is energy.
everything surrounding us is matter.
matter is a form of energy.
therefore god is everywhere.
Atheists don't believe in god.
Therefore atheists BELIEVE IN NOTHING!!!!!!!!......
