Buying Dawkins book is the same as paying tribute to him. Atheists belong to the Church of Secular Humanism. Whether or not they believe it's a religion, doesn't change the fact that it IS one of sorts.
Secular Humanism has done more to destroy American values in the past 30 years than anything else could possibly have done, including Communism or Islam.

I don't get it... how are the atheists here "acting like a religion"? Ooooooh, atheists come here "religiously". I see.
To do something "religiously" does not imply actual adherence to a religion. It implies a habit or hobby or custom but not membership in an organized faith. You're playing a semantics game... and you're doing so quite poorly.

How are we acting like a religion? The definition of atheism is a belief that there is no god. Atheism has nothing in common with religion, since it is a lack of religion.

sorry but i don't worship anyone even myself and the closest thing to a tithe that i send is my taxes. Is it hard to contemplate that not everything is modeled from your religion?

Atheists still have no higher being and that is a requirement for a religion so we still fail at that.
