Why would a cop only give a warning if you were speeding with children in the car? Isn't that more reckless than speeding alone?
And how is that anything to do with 'fairness'? Sounds more like 'trying to pretend you aren't a p*g in front of the kiddies'.

No. It will double though if you are caught speeding in a school zone or construction zone...at least for my state.

No...In fact if you have small children the police officer will sometimes give you just a warning as to demonstrate to the children their fairness.
