What do people who follow Scientology believe happens to us after we die? Also why do women have to be silent while giving birth? When i gave birth, I was far from that, LOL

Scientologists believe that during moments of pain and unconsciousness the mind records everything including words and conversations on an unconscious level. Words recorded in such fashion can have a hypnotic command over the person. Silent child birth means no words, being this the first trauma the child suffers, moaning and other noises are ok.

Scientology is a path to find your own personal truth and there are no black and white answers about after life or God. Those are things you got to find by yourself. Sorry but that’s the Scientology way.

That's a personal question that you must explore for yourself.

Although Scientology does affirms the existence of a Supreme Being or a creator of this universe, there isn't the worship of one was part of its teachings.

As one continues his studies and processing (or counseling )in Scientology, one eventually begins to look at life and his own existence in a much wider scope. And the individual might then come to his own conclusions about his place in the universe and his relationship with his god.

Whats true for you is what you have observed for yourself and therefore, in Scientology, use what works in your life to better your existence in the hear and now. And this church could care less about your race, color, or creed.

You do not need to convert to be a Scientologist. I myself am christian and still consider myself as one but I'm also a Scientologist.

To answer your question about Silent birth, its all covered in full in L. Ron Hubbard's famed Dianetics, the modern science of mental health.

There is no afterlife according to Scientology. Scientology asserts that we are all eternal spiritual beings who pass from body to body, lifetime to lifetime, and we all originated from "Theta", or "the source of life and life itself". Scientology further asserts that there is no sin, no "final judgment", no Heaven or Hell, no truth besides that which you personally define as "truth", and that we are all in need of the "salvation" of Scientology.

They believe that women should be silent at birth because any words that may be uttered could become "engrams" in the new baby. An "engram", according to Scientology, is a "past negative experiences stored in our bodies" and they believe that any words or phrases uttered during birth will be stored as "engrams" in the new child.
