An 8-year-old boy whose illegal immigrant mother lived in a Chicago church for a year is on a speaking tour pleading for an end to deportations and raids.Elvira Arellano (el-VEE'-ruh ah-ray-AH'-noh) was arrested in Los Angeles last month and deported to Mexico.
Her son Saul (sah-OOL') is a U.S. citizen and was speaking at a rally in Cleveland yesterday. He will speak in several cities on his mother's behalf.
Supporters of Arellano have said Saul will stay in the U.S. and Elvira Arellano will continue fighting in Mexico for the cause of illegal immigrant parents with U.S. citizen children.
Saul Arellano told the crowd to ask President Bush to end deportations so his mother and other families in the same situation can stay in the U.S.

How can a kid that supposedly has a learning disability be so articulate as to give speeches all across America. This kinda thing just ticks me off. When does this kid get a chance to play & go to school & be a child. He needs to be in Mexico with his mother & not neglected & taken advantage of. Poor kid!!! He will resent these people when it's all said and done!!!

He should be in school,it`s the law. By now, Elvira could be working on her green card or make up her mind where she wants to live with her kid. Who`s paying for her son to travel around-he just went to Mexico not long ago. Still should be in school-how about Calderon just come here himself and whine??? Instead of this 8 yr.old-Gee Whiz anyway. Can I have my 1 month old grandson for a rally to protect his future[Just a picture though].

Disgusting. I truly feel sorry for this poor child. He is being used as a pawn in her game.
This kid should be in school and out playing with his friends,not running all over the country. And isn't he supposed to have ADHD? That is her reasoning for staying in this country,so she could get medical help for him. This certainly cannot be good for a child with this condition.

Poor kid,he is going to be so messed up if someone doesn't put a stop to this insanity.
Not all kids are better of with their mom's,he would be better of f in a foster home.
