I usually make my own dinner to take to work each night. Do you have any suggestions for meals I can make easily and bring to work. Nutitious and tasty and easy to make. Thanks, :-)))))

I hope you have a microwave. If not, you can buy small ones from between $50 to $60 at WalMart and other stores.

1. Campbell's microwaveable bowls are delicious! During the winter, my husband and I have one almost everyday. Here is the link:

(Be sure to try the New England Clam Chowder, it's very good)

2. In the refrigerator section at the supermarket there are plastic tubs of shaved meats of all types. My favorites are the Hillshire honey ham, the salami, roast beef, and more.

3. Most supermarkets make delicious already made salads for working people. They are usually large and come with all the fixings including the salad dressings, and a fork.

4. Boiled eggs are good anytime and keep you from feeling hungry later on.

5. The best tasting hot dogs are Hebrew National and Nathan's.

6. Kippers, sardines, tuna fish, salmon, tins of chicken and shrimp. Tuna now comes in a complete kit with all the fixings included.

7. You can now buy pre-cooked meat loaf and roasts. Chops and ham. We like the Smithfield best of all. But Hormel and Armour are good too. Tyson's chicken is delicious. All of these can be found in the refrigeration section of your larger supermarkets. We shop at WalMart's Super Center stores.

8. All the Stouffer's frozen dinners are very good and good for you. They do not have additives. Even my husband likes them.

Happy eating!

I bring a sandwich but I bring the mayo or whatever dressing in a seperate container. This way the sandwich is freash and doesnt get soggy from sitting in whatever dressing you use. A cup of microwavable noodles goes good with it.
