Physics has proven religion wrong in many ways, like before the church used to say everything revolved around us, science proved that wrong. And other things as well. And now religion is trying to tie in with some science so they won't be claimed false.

I'm Christian, but there's just too many things interfering with religion that's making me doubt it.

You don't need to be a christian to love God and follow His Word. Religion is just too organized and can make you fall further from God. True religion is a relationship with God. It is neither rules-based or ritual-based. Two things that all religions hold is that humanity is somehow separated from God and needs to be reconciled to Him. False religion seeks to solve this problem by observing rules and rituals. True religion solves the problem by recognizing that only God could rectify the separation, and that He has done so. I am part of no religion but I love God, I follow His Word and way of life... You don't need religion to follow God's Word..you can always find Him for yourself so yes i'd say religion is a LIE.

Ah dear, firstly we have to know the definition of religion. Then, we can put a question like that.

Religion can not lie. Because, religion basically is not a set of informations. It is a set of rules to be followed.
Religion is a set of rules and regulations to be followed by people so that society can become more civilized, more cultured and peaceful.

In a law book, some infomations may be cited as example. But those are not part of religion. Also, there are some wrong informations and rules inserted by some greedy and egoistic people in the religion which may be proved wrong or harmful to humanity. That is not the fault of religion, that is the fault of those greedy and egoistic people who corrupted religion.

No religions are not lies, more like man made errors in judgment. As for science, the great and noble bastion of all knowledge. It can present a theorem or postulate of many subjects...except that of it's own existence. Ultimately, it is faith that stands alone.

Well, it wasn't just religion that thought that everything revolved around them, it was the popular thought. Even those NOT in the church believed that.

You just can't believe everything you see on the internet!

I would like to know exactly how scientists claim they have proven that the sun is the one that is the centre. Isn't it a bit fishy?

How can they prove that the earth is moving? They havn't proven it to me. They have just claimed it.
