I'm very curious if this is possible to do.
What scope mounts would be needed if it can be done?

i didn't say it was certain that i would do it. i was just curious if it was possible to do it.
i have shot rabbits with this gun before, though i rather use my ruger 10/22 for that kind of hunt.

I'm putting this question to vote kinda early. As I'll be out most of today and gone to Vegas over the weekend.
Thanks to all who have answered this question.

If you're willing to spend the money you can mount a scope on anything. I don't know if anyone makes a mount for the Baby Eagles, but you can always have one fabricated. Slide mounted scopes probably aren't practical (you'll beat the scope to death and probably wreck the slide because of the recoil), but there are a couple of different frame mounted options. Like I said, all it takes is money.

Go to a gunsmith and ask him.I think I seen a guy at the range the other day with a red dot on a baby eagle.

It can probably be done, but why on earth would you want to do that?

The .40 S&W is nobody's idea of a long range cartridge, and it lacks the power to be an effective hunting cartridge.

I advise a pellet gun rather.no longer as deadly as a real firearm yet are nonetheless risky and could be extra suitable for what you like. There are some good pellet pistols.i admire the crosman 2240.A BB gun isnt helpful adequate for what you like.
