Why do you keep bashing Christians?I am not a Christian but I respect their beliefs even if I don't agree with them.If being the best and the brightest makes me less of a human being I would rather be stupid.
What bothers you so bad about religion that you have to ask questions like this in the Religion and Spirituality section? Are you hoping someone might say something to help you believe the way they do?or are you just a cold hearted fool? Sorry I forgot that you are asking the questions.

No, I have never considered that possibility.
The Bible is very clear that heaven is offered to everyone. The other option is hell. There is no other options regarding eternity. How "the best" and "the brightest" would choose hell? It never came to my mind that they might even think that if they do not choose heaven, then they will be in charge of running the universe.

Well, that's a nice hope for those who choose not to believe in God. But the Bible says that those who reject Him, will spend eternity in Hell. Which is not a nice place.
