I don't know for sure if this right, but I have read that it is Mount Herman. It is the most popular candidate and the best, for two reasons: It is the highest in the area (and the Transfiguration took place on "an exceedingly high mountain"), and it is located near Caesarea Philippi, where the previous events reportedly took place.

The Transfiguration of Jesus is an event reported by the Synoptic Gospels in which Jesus was transfigured upon a mountain (Matthew 17:1-9, Mark 9:1-8, Luke 9:28-36 Neither account identifies the "high mountain" of the scene by name. The earliest identification of the mountain as Tabor is in the 5th century Transitus Beatae Mariae Virginis. In the apocryphal Gospel of the Hebrews.

Its identity is unknown. However, the reference to Caesarea Phillipi may suggest that is was mount Hermon, which was just northeast of Caesarea Phillipi.
