There is no natural food that will cause you to "immediately" evacuate your bowels. It takes from eight to thirty-six hours for food to travel the entire length of your digestive tract.

The best foods to eat are whole-grain, high-fiber cereals with cut up fresh fruit on top. Some brands of cereal pack a dozen grams of fiber, while a piece of fruit can add three or four more grams. Two bowls of the stuff in a day will definitely kick start your elimination, again.

Thank you for my 1000th answer!

When you get up in the morning - every morning - make yourself a cup of hot water and add the juice of 1/2 lemon to it before you eat anything else. If you eat whole grain bread products, and some fruits and veggies but very little cheese, you should not have any more problems.

Prune juice. The best way to treat constipation is to avoid it before it starts. You avoid constipation by staying active, drinking plenty of water, and eating a diet high in fiber.

2 tbls. apple cider vinegar, 1/2 glass of water in the morning on an empty stomach. It might take 30 min to work, but it does. You may do this in the evening as well but do not take more than 6 tbls. a day. Always on an empty stomach.
