One is made by Bausch and Lomb, the other made by CibaVision. Slight difference in material, slight difference in O2 transmission.

The main difference will be how each fits on your individual eyes. And that difference will depend upon you, no one lens is best for everyone.

They are both fairly similar really - both are approved for continuous wear, meaning you can wear them for 30 days and 29 nights continuously if your optician allows you to. Both allow high levels of oxygen to your eyes, though the Focus lenses ARE a bit more permeable than the purevisions. They are made from slightly different materials (we know that all brands vary), but they are both silicone hydrogel lenses in essence. Personally, if i had a choice, i'd choose the night and day lenses over the purevisions, for the pure fact that they are reputably uncomfortable. I got my pair of purevision torics today, and i could feel them in my eyes and they made my eyes quite sore.. But then again, i obviously haven't given them time to settle yet, so it may just be that.

You may not be able to pick which you want, to be honest, as one, or even both, may be unsuitable for the shape/size of your eyes. Ask your optician to suggest which one, if either, would be better suited for a good fit. Good luck!
