No, even if you're unusually attached to tigers, I'm sure you can find a better picture. Ankle tattoos need to be either fairly small or somehow fit into the curves of your ankle. (And I disagree with the ankle = pain idea.) I have small tattoos on the inside of both ankles, a tiny one on the outside of one ankle, one on an inner wrist, one on my upper back - on my scapula. I'm thin so everything is against a bone and nothing was particularly painful.

I would say it's a little too detailed & colorful to have on your ankle where everyone will easily be able to see. Maybe do the same picture, just black outline instead of all the orange and white and everything.

it looks a little big for your ankle, and it may not work too well with the shape of your ankle either. it would look better on your back or on your arm, but see what your tattoo artist says

Choose your artist wisely.
The area of the ankle is not
large enough for much detail.
Talk with your artist about placement.
The closer to the bone, the more pain.

I say go for it if it's something you won't regret. I have a tattoo on my ankle and it hurt really bad!

It's really big for your ankle!!! If it was smaller, it'd be fine :) It's still a cute tattoo though

What is your reasoning, does it mean anything to you
If you thought about it long and hard, and you are doing it for you then it is a great idea

first off, all the artists i kknow...hate tribal designs...so they will charge you ALOT....its also on your ANKLE...how are you going to hide that when you are older? its best to get tattoos in places that NORMAL attire wont show. cause when you are older...you will regret it.
