Some people (mature people) are in love and dating. Not all people who love get married.
i think many are too stingy with "love", like it's some magic, sacred thing that you can only give to one person.
i'm quick to love, slow to hate, but i don't have to act on either.
Some who are very young, say "i love you" because to them, they do.
To each his own. It's all quite good in my eyes - whatever works for two people is no concern of mine. i personally think there are worse things than "loving" each other.

A stranger on the street said those three words to me. Some people are very odd...
But anyway, I think people say "I love you" because they do have a strong interest in you and wants to be in a relationship with you. They just feel a strong attraction to you, even when you guys are only dating, they don't think about when it should be appropriate to say it. They just blurt out how they feel. However, I don't think it's really love though. They just say "love" because they think they're in love. Most people overuse these three words anyway.

Sometimes people don't really mean it.
I went out with a guy and on the first night he wouldn't stop saying I love you...got a bit irritating actually.
It could just be lust, or if they're immature, they think that the relationship matters because they don't really know what love it.

well it depends if they are actually in love and are dating, should they not express how they feel. you can love someone but not be ready to marry. marriage is a large commitment and should not be entered into lightly. what if one partner is legally separated & dating someone they fall in love, but said "separated partner" is not divorced yet only separated should said spouse then not share feelings of love for thier current romantic partner? That is quite ludacrous.

Using the word "I love you" is a tactic guys use when they are in trouble. so when a guy uses it a lot that means he is a world of ****. yup, I remember when I was an insecure horn-dog It worked about 80% of the time. I was lucky, I was dumped be my girlfriend, she really showed me and after three years of apologizing we became friends again.

hopefully because it's true. But just because you love someone doesn't necessarily mean that it will be a long-term relationship or even marriage. The 2 do not necessarily go hand in hand.

well it could be love at first site but that would have to be from both parties. it is because that person is trying to manipulate the other. if you feel love let the other know. if you both love, that's special. don't confuse yourself or the other person

Sometimes they think they do; but don't know what emotional love is. Other times, it's a quick way into a girls pants. Depends upon the guy and his motive for saying it.

Because sometimes they mean it...it's a great feeling to be in love, so if you say it, you think you mean it, and therefore you FEEL like you're in love.
but again, a lot of the times they are in love.
