Keep in mind that this is purely hypothetical.

If God came down from heaven, and told you that Jesus was not his, and that Judaism was the correct religion, what would you do?

As an atheist, I would immediately convert to Judaism since there would be absolute proof of God.

I really do not know, the whole basis of my understanding of God is through the Bible and this event would invalidate the entire New Testament. So I would either revert to Judism (as without the New Testament that is the Law of God). I have been in the presence of the One True Living God and do not doubt His existance. I have been healed of MS, had a child when both me and my wife were considered sterile by drs, and seen many ofher logically unexplainable events...so if what I saw was indeed God, I would still follow Him and be thankful that aHe straightened me out. But I would test the Spirit...I would not assume that He was who He said out of blindness. The anti_Christ will declare himself God and just because he says it does not make it so...one wonders why you ask :o)

Since I am a Christian and a Gentile I would be bound for hell I guess. But there are alot of gentiles in the old testament, adam and eve for a couple, then abraham, I just might have a chance. Especially since
God said that Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him for righteousness. In other words, faith got Abraham saved, that means you got saved in the old the same way you get saved in the new, well, something to think about huh.

I would ask him, then why the resurrection? Resurrection was a sign that the new age had broken into the present age and that God was particularly pleased with his servant. It would definitely be a Gestalt change, but I would be asking him some questions while he was down here.

ask him the one question that keeps me away from religion:

if he was all knowing, why the hell did he put the tree in the garden of Eden in the first place knowing that Adam and Eve would eat it, resulting in him having *no choice* but to send us all to hell, us being the people he claims to love so much.

once i get a suitable answer to that one, i'll gladly believe whatever he wants me to believe, even if it was scientology

Repent for the lost years and start anew. To be with God one would have to make the change and repent.

It's a silly hypothetical. That's like me asking ...

If one day you discovered that instead of being a human, you were really a canalope that had the capacity for thought, what would you do?

I'm an atheist.- I'd start worshiping satan- He's the nice one in the Judeo-christian myths.

That's not a difficult question. If God spoke to my face I would believe him. The difficult part would be admitting that you were wrong and/or misled.

I would wake up when I fell out of bed and hit the floor while having this dream.
