You say your 14 so I believe the schedule will probably be like this - say in about 1 month.
1.wake up and eat breakfast, pet dog on head
2.get ready for school while mom feeds the dog
3.catch school bus because your late as your mom walks dog to busstop with you
4.mom cleans up after dog, takes him home, leaves water and goes to work
5.come back at 3:25 and let dog out to go pottie
6.go call girlfriends and make plans for later
7.do homework and talk on phone
8.hear mom come home and take out dog
9.watch tv while mom feeds dog and gets supper ready
10.eat dinner
11.go watch tv while mom cleans off table and takes out dog
12.talk on phone some more, pet dog as he passes by
13.watch more tv, play with dog a little bit, go to bed and listen as mom takes dog out again before she goes to bed to start it all over again the next day.

Congratulations on thinking of the dog and putting a plan together BEFORE you get the dog! You sound more mature and responsible than a lot of adults on this msg. board!
My only concern is that until the puppy is 5 or 6 months old, it will probably need to be taken out during the day while you are in school. Can your mom do it? If not, will you live it in the kitchen or laundry room (blocked off with a baby gate of course) with some newspaper on the floor to relieve itself? Will you leave it in a crate? You just need to have a plan as to how the puppy will be able to relieve itself (and also have access to water) if nobody is home for long periods of time.
Congratulations again! Good luck with your puppy!

Sounds like a pretty good schedule! I believe your dog should be very happy with you and it's daily routine. The only difficult part is keeping with this daily routine. Everyone knows that things happen and schedules sometimes change. Just keep your dog on you mind if something comes up so that you can make arrangements. You are very young and this seems like a big responsibility for you. I'm sure you can handle it but it would be a good idea to also get some support from your family during the times you can not be there for your dog. Good luck!

A couple changes.
1. Wake up and take dog out to potty.
2. Feed dog while you get ready for school.
3. Take dog out again.
4.If housetrained leave water out, skip the food.
5. If a puppy have someone come let him out midday.
6. Get home, walk dog.
7. Feed dog, start homework while dog is eating.
8. Walk the dog.
9.More homework
10. Eat dinner
11. If under 6 months feed dog last meal of day.
12. Take dog out.
13. Hang out, train etc.
14. Take out and then go to bed.
Stick to a very similar schedule on weekends, dogs like routines. But add more playtime and snuggles of course. :)

Thats ideal for a dog. I think youll be in good shape if you stick to most of this schedule. Your dog will be quite happy with you. My dog doesnt even go on that many walks lol Your new dog will be perfectly fine this way. Good luck :D
By the way, you only need to feed your dog about twice a day. Once in the morning and once at night - that should be good. Also, male dogs need to go out more often than females so take that into account. Males go out about every 3 to 4 hours but they can last longer while youre gone and while youre asleep - I'd have someone put it out while youre at school though but it should be ok if no one can.

I'm glad you want to take care of your dog and most of the schedule sounds good.
A few things...dogs usually only need to eat once or twice a day, and leaving food out for them to eat at their leisure is not really the best idea. Also, you want to give some rest time in between feedings and exercise time. Just like humans, dogs can end up with an upset stomach.

You have a basically good plan but here are some suggestions.
1) Wake up and take dog out for short walk.
2) Feed dog
3) Get ready for school
4) Walk dog again.
5) Leave dog in a safe confined area such as a crate while you go to school
6) Take dog out as soon as you get home from school
7) feed dog
8) Take dog out - once dog has done its business take dog for a longer walk or play with dog outside. This is also a great time to work on some basic training exercises
9)Do homework
10) Take dog out again
11) Eat Dinner
12) Feed Dog
13) 20 Minute later take dog out again.
14) Hang out send sometime with dog
15) Last thing before bed take dog out again.
When you take you dog out take it to were you want it to go potty - just hang out there until the dog sniffs and goes potty.
After dog has gone potty then go for a fun walk around walk and/or play games.
If you walk until dog goes, and then head home and go back in - the dog will learn to hold it for as long possible to get maximum walk/attention.

that would work, but you wont have any time for socialization with friends. you wont have time to play sports, or an instruments, or just be a kid. also, whats going to happen to the dog when you get older and plan on going away to college? who is going to take care of the dog? also, do you feel responsible enough to fully train a dog, yet alone a boxer?

Hi...I think that is great schedule..remember puppies need ore attention while growing up the first year which makes them who they are as adult dogs....do research first on boxers OK?......they are extremely hyper dogs that need constant attention and do not calm down until they are around 3 or 4 yrs old...they are great dogs, for families as well, but just hyper......do your research...google them, go to the book store etc....then decide from there....good luck love.

thats great, only dont feed it so much! boxers are great dogs, and as a puppy, it will probably need about 2-3 and maybe 4 small meals a day, or ask the breeder, and as it gets older, decrease the food ammount by small portions. or u can ask a vet
good luck!
