I'm shy but I like this guy and?

I don't know if he'd ever even consider me. Maybe I have a slight low self-esteem at the moment, but we all do from time-to-time. I know for a fact that I'm somewhat alright looking (I mean, I've had guys crush on me..) but I don't know if I'd have a chance with this particular guy.
He's in some of my (college) classes and I don't wanna make it obvious I like him in the event that he doesn't like me....I know I should just talk to him casually, but when I do that I wear my emotions on my sleeves...I'm really expressive and I'm afraid that I might just act like an idiot around him and not even know that I'm making it obvious lol

What now? How can I tell if he's thinking about me or at least wondering...?

Well...does he look at you at all? Or go out of his way to avoid you? Does he have any reaction to you at all?
