I make 45k a year at my current job. I claimed "2" on my taxes.. and we dont have state tax. Any idea after taxes are out about how much i will make bi-weekly (before health insurance is taken out and crap)?

I get so confused about that kinda stuff!

Here is a paycheck calculator link:

http://www.paycheckcity.com/netpaycalc/netpaycalculator.asp

When I put your info in, here is what I get:

Bi-weekly Gross Pay
$1,730.77
Federal Withholding
$208.73
Social Security
$107.31
Medicare
$25.10
State:
$0.00

Net Pay
$1,389.63

I was not sure if you were single or married, so I put in single. If you are married, not as much federal tax comes out so you would actually be getting $1453 every two weeks, which is a little bit more!

Hope that helps!

You didn't indicate if you claim single or married. Go to the withholding charts, find your status (single/married, biweekly), you biweekly gross amount, the amount under "2" is the amount of federal tax that will be withheld (single/biweekly starts on page 42, married/biweekly starts on page 44):

Maybe about $1300 to $1400 ?

If you make $45K , how come you don't know how much your paycheck is ?
