well, it depends on the type of Christians your talking about. To be a Christian nowadays, all you have to do is say "Oh yeah i believe in God" then you go do whatever heck you wanna do. those kinds can be possessed believe they don't really have God in their lives. But the real kinds, also known as Born Again Christians, can't. because they have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior with all their heart. when you accept christ and ask for forgiveness, you receive the Holy Spirit and God becomes part of your life. he will always protect you. So the the demons wouldn't even think of possessing a born again christian! :D I hope that helped!

NO! Absolutely not. There is no Scriptural evidence of a Christian being demon possessed.
When a person becomes a believer the Holy Spirit dwells within him. God has claimed that person as His own, therefore a demon cannot occupy that person.
Matthew 12:25 says "a house divided against itself cannot stand."
Unbelievers, however, can be.

Well, the people out of whom Jesus and the apostles cast "devils" weren't Christian, because nobody, including Jesus, had ever heard of a Christian. So I don't think it's scriptural per se for a Christian to become possessed. On the theory, though, why not. And in practice, it's fairly striking that only people in Christian countries, generally from Christian families, become possessed by Christian demons.

Of course ... a Christian is a follower of Christ, and therefore a number one target of demons. Christians stumble and falter just like anybody else, and it's naive to think that being a Christian makes one invincible to the attacks of the enemy. Yes, Christ dwells in Christians ... those who invite Him in AND allow Him to use them completely. There are some hard-headed Christians, and there are some misdirected Christians. The enemy can be ingenious when it comes to clouding a Christian's judgment so that he/she believes that he/she is doing right.
George Bush proclaims to be a Christian ... scary thing is, I think he actually believes he's doing the work of Christ!!!
I will stop short of suggesting that HE'S demon-possessed.

I'm doubtful that a demon can possess a spirit filled Christian, because the Holy spirit is already dwelling inside that person; however if a spirit filled person gets into strange doctrines, and there are some out there, than a demon may have the opportunity to oppress that person.

Yes, they can become demon possessed.
JC described the body as a "house" where the old owner got driven out and that was made all clean and perfect.
Now if the owner of the "house" fails to take care of it (slacks off in being christian) the old owner will come back to reposess the home and will bring with him several others worse than him to wreck the place completely.

The Bible does not explicitly state whether a Christian can be possessed by a demon. However, since a Christian is indwelt by the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9-11; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 6:19), it would seem unlikely that the Holy Spirit would allow a demon to possess the same person He is indwelling.
As believers, we wage warfare with Satan and his demons, but not from within ourselves. 1 John 4:4 declares, “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” Who is the One in us? The Holy Spirit. Who is the one in the world? Satan and his demons.

A child of God (filled with the Holy Ghost) cannot be demon possessed. We can be tormented by Satan and his co-horts but ultimately he has no power over a saved person.

I'm not so sure those are Pagan spells... Christian Mystics did this sort of thing "Back in the day". I'm not sure about the history of the book but I do know that certain Christian sects, especially during the middle ages, did these sort of things trying to find knowledge. As for sticking with the "Oldest" book... there are many writings more ancient than the Bible... so I would suggest to the person who said that, insinuating that you should stick to the Bible, should do a little research of their own.

No.
You are a Spirit.
You have a Soul.
You live in a Body.
When satan was Kicked Out of the Kingdom of GOD, he entered into the Mental Realm (where the Soul Operates) and the Physical Realm (invisible spirits---angels are spirits).
When you get Saved (Born-Again) your Spirit is RECREATED and you are Translated Into the Kingdom of GOD's Dear Son (Kingdom of GOD).
satan cannot Enter Into the Kingdom of GOD (he was kicked out of it).
You Entered into the Kingdom of GOD when you got Born-Again.
satan cannot Touch your Spirit.
satan OPPRESSES Christians in the Mental Realm (Soul) and the Physical Realm.
