I have the following handbook:
- TEMA 8th edition
- ASME boiler and pressure vessel code.

Not much help with flange design

You will have to look up the Tubular Exchanger Manufacturer's Association (TEMA) standards book (TEMA).

or the ASME boiler and Pressure Vessel Code section on Flange Design.

I don't know where you are going to find this info for free.

Your best bet would be to google heat exchanger flanges and then phone a few manufacturers whose names come up.

You did not state the diameter of the heat exchanger but you could consider using an ANSI flange.

Otherwise, the ASME code is your best bet.
