I had the problem of using the word God like Einstein did; referring to the life spark, the mystery and the wonder NOT AT ALL the deity!
However after reading the God Delusion and reading Richard Dawkins point on this matter I can see why perhaps being poetic when debating life etc it might be misconstrued. So I have completely ceased using the word for anything other than deity.
So for me - god is simply "a supreme being according to some particular conception"

He is the One with Whom I have an eternal relationship unlike all the other people that surround me in this life. He is the origin of everything.
Some people believe there is no God, no cause to this world. They prefer to postulate that way because they do not want to accept that someone might be worthy of worship due to their being more powerful, more beautiful, richer, more intelligent, or wiser than them.
The One Who possesses all these qualities as deep as the ocean is God. Qualitatively, we are exactly like Him inasmuch as a drop of sea water in non-different from the ocean. We are quantitatively different.

Just the simple fact that you realize god IS causes my heart to fill with joy. My opinion is that god is BALANCE. Sometimes god may be seen to do terrible things,but I think that JUSTICE has consequences. All of the things that a person should do as well as all of the things that a person should NOT do,,are listed in Deuteronomy for all to read about. The blessings and the cursings are written there for all of us to read. The "NAME "of my god is "YAHWEH",who was the ONE GOD of the ancient Hebrews.There are MANY "gods",with many names,but I do not worship them.

Hallelujah! I echo your love for the Lord. Praise the Lord.. He can be our LOVE.. our JOY... our HAPPINESS.. EVERYTHING GOOD in LIFE.. hallelujah.. He is LIFE ITSELF.
Praise the Lord sister casey..He is our life and our life suppy day by day. We are just here as branches abiding IN Him as our Vine.

God helps me thru the hard times in my life and is someone I pray to help me stay strong and focused. I have recently been sepaerated from my bf and I am almost 9 mos preggo. I have prayed for him to come back, but I realized that this would be a bad thing to happen as he was abusive. I think God somehow intervened b/c of all the horrible things I put up with and did not want my child to go thru this. As much as I loved him and I was devastated, I know this was a blessing in disguise. I am not strong in faith all the time, but I believe in things happening for a reason and that God is there.

It seems to me people do not see any middle ground when it comes to God. I see God as a support for people who need something in their lives to guide them and support them. I am agnostic but I see people with God in their lives (maybe the faith of God would be a better term) and I am truly happy for them. It's not my way of life but I don't judge people who are against religion why should I judge those that do?

Jesus is my God, he came to earth and died on a cross for me, took the sins of the world on his shoulders and gave his life so that I might live. He arose from the grave the third day forever washing away my sins. He has given me a home in Heaven and a new start down here, its never to late to start over with God, We are the apple of his eye, we are all special to Jesus, all he asks is we give ourselves totally to him, we must be saved and born again to enter into Heaven with him, If you would like to be saved just say this simple prayer, Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. We think of God by what he has done (creation), but he is more than a creator, because from all eternity, God is an eternal family of self-giving life and love between The Father and the Son, their love is so real that it is a person-The Holy Spirit. In marriage, the hidden mystery of the Triune God's exchange of love and life is revealed ,when a man and a women give their love and love to eachother through their bodies to bear a child.
