Hmm maybe...but I think we have different reasons.
It is not the obsessing that bothers me so much. I mean I think people need to reflect and what not. When I think about it I don't dwell on the details yet I notice the sting of the day is still pretty strong. The sting of the lack of human compassion the terrorist had in doing what they did. I don't care if it's 20 years from now...I think it will still be a harsh sting. The actions of those terrorist boggle my mind and leave me with a cold chilling feeling.
The actions of some very brave people warm my heart. There were acts of compassion and sacrifice that ironically take the sting and make it tolerable. People who gave up their lives to save others...it takes the edge off that cold feeling.
So in an essence it is a mixture of the good and the bad. It still leaves me confused.
But the United States of 9/11...ahh maybe. Maybe because it seems the only time we are "united" is when we are struck by terror or when we discuss terror. This kinda sucks to me. Hmm its like we don't give a crap about the US but only on one day a year.
*Wonders if someone doesn't already know there is a state called New Mexico...for me personally saying I live in New Mexico, New Mexico...sounds pretty dumb!! ;) JK
((((Gawdzy))) Good question.
I hope things are going well with you and yours. Wonder if you have found that strength you were looking for.

No, i'm no longer likely to call you a liberal pansy. regardless of the undeniable fact that, i'd desire to make some factors that i'd such as you to envision, to no longer sway any form of thinking on your area, yet to enable or no longer this is everyday to different human beings so they might a minimum of understand the different attitude. a million.Terrorists are scattered for the period of the midsection East. 2. super undesirable dictators who bloodbath their own human beings many times (i'd desire to be incorrect) help terrorists. 3. who's to assert that Iraq decrease than the regime of Saddam Hussein did no longer commerce weapons of mass destruction, consequently taking under consideration the paying for by ability of yet another united states of america bent on the destruction of united states of america of america. 4. Iraq did (in case you examine history that's info) hearth up many stuff interior the midsection east threatening the "peace" that all of us seems to choose yet no person is prepared to combat for. it truly is real that there are various countries like Iraq with the comparable schedule, yet there is not any rule asserting you won't be in a position to take the offensive. Offensive and protecting are many times needed for any united states of america, purely ask Israel. i'm probable purely a sprint drawn obtainable, yet i desire I have been given my factors throughout and desire that it would a minimum of open up the eyes of a few human beings.:)

There is a lot of obsession with 9/11.. you make a good point there. Of course it was a devastating attack, but other countries go through far worse.

Now that's a good question. People have made this into a national holiday. Fear is not something I look foward to. I totally respect what happened but if we dwell on the past fear will jut add to the fear.

it's the new pearl harbor day. in both cases the president new it was going to happen and did nothing to prevent it. instead they allowed it to happen and then used it to their benefit. they both wanted to go to war, but at least ww2 was a war worth fighting and not just to the benefit of a few wealthy men.
