JAMES,
THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED TO A FELLOW DENTALL STUDENT WHENI WAS IN SCHOOL.
THE PATIENT WAS TOLD TO TAKE MILK OF MAGNESIA, FIND AND BRING THE CROWN BACK, WHERE AFTER CLEANING AND BEING STERILIZED IT WAS RE-CEMENTED.

I am soooo sorry! It could well be that it takes a couple more days. I am sure that you are ready to over with this ordeal.
How long had the crown been on? The new cements shouldn't wash out like older ones had. If this crown is recent, I would worry that there is something amiss with the crown or the prep.
I really do wish you the best of luck on this. We have had this happen in our office. (Yeah, we laugh about it.)

Everybody's system is different, but unless you're checking every bowel movement carefully, it's probably gone.
Ever eat corn? After a day, you probably see evidence that it's made the trip all the way through. I'd guess that your crown has, too.

I assume you are looking through your poop?
And I would get a new crown anyways. I wouldn't want to put the old one back where it was. It probably wasn't be good fit and that is why it came off.

I think you are overworried about it. How do you know you have not passed it? It would not necessarily be that readily apparent. And then, once you have passed it, no problems.

What ya gonna do with it when it does pass? Put it under your pillow for the tooth fairy? GROSS! Think where it's been! If you're not sifting and washing your poo, you're probly gonna miss it! LOL
