I tried to comprehend their way of thinking, but it's really impossible.

I won't even start mentioning their ridiculous views because it will take up so much space here. it's just pitiful that those people believe the way they do... very pitiful.

I'm not sure what the difference between a regular Christian and a born-again one is. But some people out there are very into their religion, some people are just ignorant of other people's views. not to say they are bad people, they just don't know anything else other then what they are fed.

Just because you choose not to believe, does not make it true. As stated earlier, there was gravity before it was "discovered". If you don't believe in gravity, so sorry, it is still there.

Jesus was a real person documented. He was put on a real cross. It was documented. He rose again. It was documented by 500 people. Jesus said "You have to be born again" to be forgiven for your sins.
He didn't say, i know of a way. He said "I am the Way".

I'm born again and I am neither twisted or ridiculous. Those that insult our faith don't understand it. Most of the arguments/questions I see on here have very explainable answers. Too bad you don't take the time to ask them. Just spewing off hate. Nice.

Overly religious people in general creep me out. What happens to their brain that causes them to sleep, eat, drink and poop religion? Every other word is God, and "God Bless you" "Jesus saves" "Jesus blessed me" "The Lord is so wonderful I weep when I look at the stars!" I don't understand it! Many cross the line from reality into "lala land". WHY? Why can't you just believe in God, be a good person, do the right thing and have a potluck now and then with your fellow church goer's?

I am not sure what is so twisted about being born again...if you mean what the Scripture says it means to be "born again," and not what those who judge, who attack others without love, who do not show kindness, compassion, all the things that Yeshua/Jesus said it means:

Read the Scripture:
Jhn 3:3 In reply Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again
Jhn 3:4 “How can a man be born when he is old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!”
Jhn 3:5 Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.
Jhn 3:6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.
Jhn 3:7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’
Jhn 3:8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
Jhn 3:9 “How can this be?” Nicodemus asked.
Jhn 3:10 “You are Israel's teacher,” said Jesus, “and do you not understand these things?
Jhn 3:11 I tell you the truth, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony.
Jhn 3:12 I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things?
Jhn 3:13 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven–the Son of Man

According to the words of Jesus, being reborn is not merely accepting that He died for our sins...It is moving from being in the flesh, and doing fleshly, worldly things to being in the spirit---Being judgmental only of ourselves, for we have been told "Judge not, lest ye be judged" and "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."

Being born again, according to the Book, means to live where we love thy enemy as well as they friend--where we walk away from fights, not instigate them and wash the dust from our feet. I am born again, and that means I can only judge me. I can try and correct one who makes a mistake about Scripture, as I am now, and I am also amazed as to how many say they are born again and it seems to me don't understand the why's and wherefore's. These are the same people who tell me that a Messianic Jew cannot be a Christian, that a Messianic Jew first started in the 1970's, that I am a hypocrite if I believe in both books even though Yeshua/Jesus Himself said He came to fulfill, not abolish Scriptures.

Being born again, according to the Bible, not the people, means to have the Holy Spirit dwell inside of me...to accept those who can accept me, and let He who created me make the judgments, because I am not to try and be higher than Him.

Being born again does not mean to hate anyone or anything--whether one sees something as a sin or not; it is not to tell anyone who is or who is not going to Hell but to show them the Scripture and let them decide, and let Him judge. It is to be a student, with faith and working towards a deeper relationship. If this sounds twisted, so be it....but if what sounds twisted is how some people act when they say they are born again, I can only say I am in my 50's and first accepting that I can be both a Jew and a Christian because the Book says so, and for so many years I was confused because of the messenger, until I decided instead to jus look at the message.

We don't have to understand what that means.....but I think it's really disrespectful to denigrate someones beliefs.

It makes you look small.
