Network my man, Network.
Start developing a network of friends and coworkers, friend's girlfriends, neighbors, church ladies, etc who are out there looking for dates for you. Share your situation with cool people and say things like "How did you meet Mr. Johnson?"
Nice people have a natural tendancy to be matchmakers.
I moved several times in my career and found myself in similar situations. I developed a "Find DJ a Date" network and got myself getting invited to parties, barbeques, peoples houses for dinner, etc all the time.
There was a receptionist at my company that would set me up with nieces, friend's daughters, neighbors, etc. on a regualr basis. She was a widow that loved to cook and would make dinner and invite me a lot. Good food, and I found a few nice girls *with benefits* from it. Try it man!

Hey I grew up in Iowa. If you feel the same way as I do it is hard as hell to meet single women in Iowa. Its such a small place, its rare as hell to find a woman that is single. Sometimes in small towns like Iowa it seems like it is impossible to get a relationship started.
