walking alone won't help you lose weight if you still overeat and don't eat nutritious food. BUT if you cut out calories you can see results quickly. if you can remove 500 calories from your diet a day you should lose one pound a week. walking will help you to build muscle and feel better and have more energy.
good luck!

No it wont if you are only relaying on walking for 30 mins. II walk for 1hr everyday in the past but didn't change my eating habits, i had a hard time losing a single pound. Not until i started eating healthier foods in smaller portions that i was able to lose weight. i am on my 3rd month of my diet and exercise. I have lost a total of 15-18 lbs. If i can, you can too. Just be patient. And by the way, you will see results in 3months.

You will best reduce weight in case your stroll burns off extra energy than you're taking in. Restrict your self to 1200 cals an afternoon and stroll 30 -forty minutes and also you must lose 3lb per week.

As long as you aren't walking from Burger King to McDonalds to Dunkin Donuts and then home to have dinner.

Yes, it helps. Anything that gets your heart rate up will help. The effect, in addition to burning calories, is to increase your overall metabolism. This helps your body burn calories even when you aren't excersizing.

Believe it or not it will if you do it everyday! If you really want improvement, powerwalk (so you break a sweat.)

The change will be subtle, so don't be expecting dramatic results unless you are severely obese.
