Ritz Toasted Chips would be a better option to have on the occasion. They are still moderate in sodium, but are lower in saturated fat.
But try to skip the chips and have them seldomly. Eat some fruit or some peanuts for a small snack.

If you want the saltyness - popcorn - they make 100 calorie packs of the microwave stuff (just be like Bill and don't inhale! LOL) or pretzels (the big hard sourdough ones take a while to eat.) or some nuts - they actually have other health benefits or if you just want the crunch - an apple or some carrot and celery (or other veggies you like) sticks. The apple or the veggie sticks will give you fiber too, so you'll feel fuller than if you scarfed down a bag of Lays. There's those Quaker Quakes rice cakes - they have some flavor, so they don't taste like styrofoam, but you have to portion them out - it's easy to eat a bunch of them.(But 1 serving is 70 calories, and an entire bag is like 500 calories.)
Chips are okay in moderation. If you find yourself dreaming about them, buy a bag but portion out the serving size into baggies before you put them away - this way, you can't mindlessly stick your hand in a big bag.

Celery has a good crunch, if that's what you are looking for.
Try cutting a stalk into "horseshoe slices" you get the same small thing to the mouth sensation and it wont have a stringy texture.
