Why is it that...?

girls look for specific qualities in a guy (ex. i want my dream guy to be hot with a good smile ect.) then we find a guy that we "think" has those qualities. sometimes we end up going out with that guy. so about 1 day later you find out the guy doesnt have all those things you expected out of him. why? sometimes this happens to guys as well.

This is normal for people that A)only want silly superficial things in a partner or B) don't know what they really want.
