Try researching dreams on the internet, most dreams mean something that is on the child's mind! If they are stressing out about something it tends to come across in a dream. For instance, dreaming of a snake is said to have something to do with infedility in your relationship! Depending on the situation in the dream snakes canhave many different meanings inside dreams! So, try looking up abduction or diformaties, things like that! Weird huh?

Sounds very similar to one I used to have, but it was a lion. The brain works in weird ways and sometimes trying to figure out the meaning of a dream can be very difficult and cause more anxiety. We can "program" our dreams to change the outcomes. Perhaps you can suggest that if he has this dream again, he conjure some superpower or whatever little boys dream up to overpower this "villian and resolve the issue once and for all.

When my grandma died/ as she was about to die i had horrible nightmares ( i stopped having them though after i talked about my feelings). Has anything stressful happened in his life lately divorce, death, is he getting bullied? I would ask him about his feelings, maybe that will help the nightmares stop. Hope this helps God Bless you and your son.
