Sadly, most pet mice and rats end up getting tumors near the end of their life span. :( I'm sorry. The only advice I can give you is to keep her happy for as long as you can. She'll probably still live a while longer, because tumors don't really kill them: they just get big and bothersome as time goes on. If it gets to the point where your mouse starts acting sad or in pain than I suggest putting her to sleep.

Yeah. I have had rats and they always get tumors. Same with Mice. Just play with her and give her a good life until you think she's starting to suffer then you can have her put down at the vet. It should be pretty cheap because it takes so little of the stuff they use for a tiny mouse. As far as having the tumor removed, depending on the spot alot of vets might not even do the operation and if you find one that will it will probably be expensive.
Good luck.

Are you sure it's not an abscess, which would need treatment? If it is a tumor, it could go either way...although, it's always good to see a vet. Mammary tumors are the most common type in mice. Unfortunately, they are usually malignant and the recurrence rate is high. So, most pet owners decide not to put them through surgery (the only treatment). Instead, they make them as comfortable as possible. She, most likely, will have a few good months...so keep and spoil her. If you have any other questions, feel free to send me an email.
ETA: Tumors in mice and rats are not the same...for instance, mammary tumors in mice are usually adenocarcinomas (malignant) and mammary tumors in rats are usually fibroadenomas (benign). Also, the location of the tumor can be deceiving. My mouse's tumor was on her side, in front of her back leg...but biopsy proved it to be a mammary tumor.

make sure your mouse actually has a tumor. a tumor looks like a big bump on your mouse. it could be in any part of your mouse's body. i know exactly how u feel. i had a pet mouse that had a tumor too. she died a couple months ago.
to get money you should go to the people that know her and ask for some money to take her to the vet. while your doing that, look for a animal hospital that accepts mice. once you get enough money take her to the vet. they might say that she could get medication or surgery - it's your choice. i hope my advice helps u. good luck!

A lot of mice get tumors. The best thing you can do is when you pick her up, try to avoid it. They can live for quite some time with them, so just give her a good life.
