Not eating for that long can really slow up your metabolism and yes possibly make you gain because your body is holding onto the little food you do eat and storing it as fat. The reason being that your body thinks your starving it.
Don't you have school lunch?
You aren't being very healthy eating that little. Wake up earlier and eat breakfast. That's what I do.

It depends on what the snacks are: do you have an apple and cottage cheese for snacks, or do you have an ice cream sundae, and big bag of potato chips. If you have a healthy dinner and then have some fruit as a snack and perhaps coffee/tea with 2 cookies that isn't so bad. It is all in the size and exactly how healthy the foods are.
Wait!! I just reread what you said, do you eat absolutely nothing at all -all day except for a small dinner and 2 snacks, then that is not good, you need healthy breakfast, decent lunch and then dinner, count up the calories and then you can have reasonable snacks.

in actuality, it makes no difference at what time of the day or how many times you eat in regards of gaining or losing weight. the body first transports carbs into the muscles where they are needed. if, and only if, these calories are not used, the body will store any additional energy as fat - but that doesn't happen within one day!
the only thing relevant is how many total calories you ingest over the day, no matter how many meals you choose to eat. an average of 1800 - 2300 kcal should be ok, depending on your age and activity level.
what will be most influenced, if you choose to eat in the evening only, is your energy level. especially for people (teens as well as adults) in school it is proven that a light meal, e.g. an hour before a test, helps to enhance concentration and hence improve the results dramatically.
in contrast to that, you are quite slow and inactive with a full stomach (assuming you eat one big meal a day to take in sufficient energy), because your body needs a lot of energy and effort to handle all the digestion work. if you eat late, that process will also affect the quality of your sleep, hence you feel less energized and fresh the next morning.
you may also risk fainting due to a low blood sugar level, if you don't eat at all during the day - again, depending on your activity level.
also remember that you should drink at least two quarts a day. if the beverages you prefer have any sugar content (juice, soda, lemonade...), then there you go, you take in calories without eating....

yes it isa very bad. by doing this your putting your body in starvation mode and when you do finally eat your body will turn what you eat into fat in order to save it's self from starving. take small, portable, and compact things to school with you so that you can eat a little every 2-3 hurs between classes. what i usually do is have a breakfast of 200 calories before school or on the way to school like a peice of toast with peanut butter. then a granola bar 3 hours later(180 calories), then a nutrition bar 2 hours later(120 calories), then a few servings of fruit or a yogurt when i get home from school and a good hearty meal at dinner. i do this and manage to maintain a weight of 100 lbs and i'm 5'5''. remember, you need 1500 calories a day DON'T starve yourself it doesn't work!!!

you should eat the snack during school. eat a healthy dinner when you get home. a balanced diet is very important. how each individual diet will affect people differently depends on that persons genetics. I can eat all day and hardly gain weight. its just my genetics. some people look at food and gain weight. sayiing your in school tells me your probably a teenager. thats the most important time frame in your life to eat healthy. dont eat an hour before you sleep. your body is busy digesting the food and doesnt get the rest it should.

This is not an uncommon [pattern___________but it's better if you eat a breakfast (juice, cereal, milk), and a light lunch.
Also drink 4-6 glasses of water a day, and get 30 minutes wexercise (walking, running, calisthenics, etc.)
Don't smoke; NO drugs; minimal alcohol.
Study hard; get good grades; you are the hope of America!!!!
