I have 2 cameras and neither takes very good night time pics or pics of fireworks. I will be going to Disney World soon and I want to get some nice night time pics. Any help would be great. What camera do you use when you go to Disney World?

Night and fireworks photos require that you control the camera. In other words, you have to be in Manual Mode.
Any camera that allows you to use Manual Mode, mounts to a tripod and accepts a cable release* will do. Set your shutter speed to "T'" or "B" which allows you to hold the shutter open as long as you want. If your camera allows you to set shutter speeds of 15 seconds you won't need a cable release - just use the camera's self-timer.
Perusing my ever-present FotoSharp (fotosharp.com) "Day & Night Exposure Guide" and choosing Scene # 14 'City skyline in distance' it says, at ISO 200:
At f4, 4 seconds
At f5.6, 8 seconds
At f8, 15 seconds
At f11, 30 seconds
For Scene # 12, 'Aerial fireworks' it says, at ISO 200:
At f4, 1 second
At f5.6, 2 seconds
At f8, 4 seconds
At f11, 8 seconds
As you can readily see night photography and fireworks is a job for human intervention and thinking.
* Some cameras can use an "electrical" cable release. If you're in Manual Mode and have the shutter set at "B" or "T" and use an "electrical" cable release the shutter will fire as soon as contact is made. You must use a mechanical cable release to hold the shutter open as long as needed.

I would use my Casio Exelim. there is even a setting for fireworks you just use that. This camera is Small. It is not a Bulky thing you have to worry about it's own Suitcase for it fits in my front pocket (in the case I bought for it at the camera shop) AND the cost os under $300.00 for it. you don't have to spend an arm and a leg for a good camera for good pics. the best thing to do would be To Take a lot of pictures. maybe practice taking some at night and have them downloaded or printed out Get extra media cards have as much as you can afford or down load them often.

the best way to capture fireworks is to have a camera that allows you to change the sutter speed and the apperture
in other words you need a digital SLR. canon is pretty
good to start they have the rebel its pretty affordable
and you like to travel this is a great camera if you read the
manual you will do really good. one other advantage with
digital you can shot alot until you get the desired results

A manual camera that will allow you to use longer exposures like one sec or longer. Maybe a lens that you can hold open with a cable release and get the whole firework. Have fun.

I just take my regular digital camera, it cost about 200$ so it's not junk nor is it real expensive. It always does a great job taking pictures. You should think about bringing a video camera too, i always bring both. Good luck! Have fun :)

CANON. it has settings specifically for night time pictures. :) the one i like is the flat-ish one with a wide-screen. It has different features. :) portrait, landscape, sunsets, action movements. A LOT.

It is Canon i am sure, it has good light for night pictures
