The links to the questions I asked with links and lists of Islamic leaders/imams/etc condemning terrorism were posted multiple times on this person's question by other users who actually did read it (and thanks for doing so, most on here like to hate and ignore anything good). He isn't blocked. Then he goes on to say he's going to keep on "speaking out" against things that happened thousands of years ago.

Doesn't this prove the point I was making earlier? That these people just have some sort of sickness where hatred feels good to them?

And yeah, I know, I'm kicking myself. This place is addictive. I'm deleting that other question. I don't know why I bother asking anything anymore. *looks up number for Answers Anonymous*

It does show that some would rather hate than listen. It is no different with people of other religions as well, be they Christian, Jew, Pagan, etc.... You will ALWAYS find those that rely more on their hatred than they do truth.

But with people like that, it's much better if you ignore them completely. They feed off of people reacting to their offensiveness and ignorance.

By the way, I'm glad you posted that site

http://www.unc.edu/~kurzman/terror.htm

It's not often I hear of a Muslim condemning the actions of terrorists claiming the same label of that religion. That was my Main argument about the whole ordeal to begin with... that I just don't see many condemning the actions of the terrorists and stating what the religion stands for. I have only ever had one Muslim email me concerning this and he did clear up a lot of things for me.... and without trying to convert me (of which I am VERY thankful... I prefer discussion... not someone trying to use every angle to get me to convert to their religion).

You shouldn't pay much attention to people like that. Even if everyone else in the world stopped doing what they were doing, they would continue in the hopes of getting others to hate as much as they do. In the end, they will be the one's to lose out as they spent all their time trying to find reasons to hate others, rather than trying to find reasons to bring peace between us.

I hear they have a nice 12 step program with Answers Anonymous... the problem is, it's online and you have to answer questions. *wink*

No, it proves that SOME (maybe only one) non-Muslims don't want to hear it.

Even the people who made the movie "Obsession," which is about the propaganda being employed by SOME Muslims to indoctrinate little children to be suicide bombers for Jihad, acknowledge that the radicals are a minority. They start the movie with it, and they end the movie with it. And certainly plenty of people have challenged moderate Muslims to speak out against the terrorists. But it is equally true that moderates HAVE BEEN speaking out against the terrorists. I remember seeing major news reports on the subject on 9/12/01 and 9/13/01. Peaceful Muslims were every bit as appalled as the rest of us.

Don't let the irrational ones get you down.

it extremely is a sturdy initiate. Muslims hijack 4 airplanes in u . s ., crash them, killing hundreds of persons, and now there are 4 Islamic website that condemn the action. Now i'm not a Conservative Republican, i don't watch Fox information by way of fact they spin each little thing to the incredible, and that i do believe our modern administration that the only thank you to end terrorism is to kill all the terrorists. Killing terrorists in simple terms creates extra terrorists. it incredibly is like our failed war on drugs. Neither answer incredibly addresses the underlying difficulty. yet i visit take concern with you and say that the Muslim community international, has not performed almost adequate to try against terrorist. Muslims continually say that for the duration of straightforward terms a fraction of a % of all Muslims are terrorists. yet that determine won't be able to probably be actual. The terrorists have an entire community of help interior the Muslim community. in simple terms approximately each Mosque interior the united kingdom preaches violence against the west. dying to u . s . is a rallying cry it extremely is heard each Friday in each Muslim united states of america interior the international. Your website condemnation does not something. you're able to end helping the community of terror. do away with the imams that carry forth hate. Expel the unconventional thinkers. paintings collectively to remedy the difficulty. by way of fact it incredibly is not going away. and quickly we will all be lifeless. Rotting interior the floor. by way of fact there's no God. there's no Allah. Jesus never existed. And Muhammad grew to become right into a charlatan.

You have to realize we have a lot of new and young people joining every day from all over the world. If someone doesn't get out the good news, it won't get out. It's self fulfilling prophecy to give up. A lot of very intelligent and even famous people get on here and don't make inane comments. Some people are hurting very much and try to share the pain. Share it. They don't know the harm they are doing. Isn't forgiveness divine? How would they know with no one to teach them? And if the trumpet sounds indistinctly, who will rise to battle? Spiritual warfare is bloody. lol

The anti-Muslim bigots don't want to hear you condemn terrorism, its true that they want to think you're all bad. But don't assume that all non Muslims are like that. I know that the vast majority of you are normal people. Its just that the fanatics get on the news much more than the rest of you, so they're the only ones people hear about.

I don't Deny there are allot of good Muslim people in the world, but the Muslim country's of this world and many of. their leaders are bad, can you deny this.I will not trust the nation of Islam until I see the good people silencing Imams that spew hate and overthrowing leaders that give money and safe haven to terrorists.I keep hearing Muslim terrorists are the minority yet you cannot seem to make them behave.

Blind faith of any kind is conducive to the worse violations of human rights.

Deal with it, stop denying this poison of the minds, and we will believe you.

The 9/11 terrorists were praying allaah while leading 3000 civilians of all races and faiths to their death. Tough luck.

> Does this prove that NonMuslims don't want to hear us condemn terrorism so they can keep believing their lies?

I agree with you. I have noticed this trend all throughout yahoo answers.

people WANT to think all muslims are militant.

they are IGNORANT.

i am not muslim..but i recognize that you have to look at each culture, religion, etc as its own entity, and not make assumptions about the whole.

yes there are peaceful muslims like you said who condem terrorism and there there are fundamentalist christians who tell atheists that "they are going to hell for not accepting christ" or some BS like that.

so, yeah..good and bad sects of ANY religion..

can people just read and stop being ignorant. so many people are so ignorant to the world around them. they need to be more cultured.

No. One example is not a representative. But Muslims have a lot to do to convince the world that they are not violent people; tens of thousands of Iraqi Muslims have been slaughtered by other Muslims. And, of the 20 most recent and violent terrorist attacks (not counting Iraq, of course), 19 have been by Muslims.

don't they say that admitting that you have an addiction is the first step...

sure, some people love to hate the other, and islam is a likely target. i do hope you're not inclined to see this everywhere though. not all criticism is motivated by hatred. some of it is surely just fear of the unknown, and you can do something about that.
