what color stipes should i paint in my back room?

i want to paint stripes on my walls in my computer room. the room is small so i already know that i am going to do 5" stripes, but i just dont know what 2 colors to use. i was looking at blues but im not sure. the room has no windows and is about 7' x 10.5'. i have a wooden desk, and i wooden 9 cube storage case, both very light wood and i have a red directors chair and about 5 red draws for my storage case. thats the only color. does anyone have any suggestions?

a pale green than a darker green, but not dark green, is beautiful.

I would choose a bright and a light color [ say, royal blue and bright yellow ].
Then paint a 5 - 6" inch horizontal stripe yellow stripe halfway up the walls, and paint a 6" stripe on either side of it.
Reinforce the colors you pick with the art or an area rug
[ or buy a rug with some red, and choose colors from it ].
Color choices:
pink and red
red and black
lime and olive
yellow and blue
aqua and teal
caramel and coffee

Since there are no windows,I would go light.
I suggest a light blue and complementing light green.
You can check out all the matching colours at your paint store.I've saw these two colours put together and it looked great and very fresh.

Agreed with Sabrina: Go with light colors. And by all means, use the blues! Perhaps a light blue and an even paler shade, just short of being white.

I would do Sherwin Williams' "relish" & "hazel."
