Six years ago, the world changed. I just want to remeber that for a while because, despite my fast held views on organised religion(s) I find myself looking to a higher power for some kind of spiritual comfort. I happen to have had an epiphany....

Whilst I activly enjoy verbal sparring with the rest of you, I would like, just for today, to extend a genuine thought from my heart.

I am glad it wasnt you....

Thank you very much. I am glad it wasn't you as well. It always seems that people are more kind and patient with each other on 9-11. I think it is because they remember how we all felt on that day.
To all of those who lost loved ones on 9-11, know that we remember and mourn with you every year.

THERE was ruin and terror in Manhattan, but, over the Hudson River in New Jersey, a handful of men were dancing. As the World Trade Centre burned and crumpled, the five men celebrated and filmed the worst atrocity ever committed on American soil as it played out before their eyes.----

Amen- thank God that there are a few people that get it. Prayers go out to those who lost friends and loved ones, and may God give comfort today.

while i agree that it wasn't the world that changed, just america and our view of the rest of the world, i will still echo that i'm glad it wasn't you either and i will keep those who were directly effected by this tragedy in my thoughts.
