I was told Hebrew.

The Old Testament is mostly Hebrew. The New Testament is Greek. If you mean at the time of creation, I believe Hebrew. But after the tower of Babel, one wouldn't know for sure.

The original language of what? All of humanity? Certainly Hebrew does not qualify. Sumerian is much older.
