Who do you suppose is behind the creation of a world full of many different religions? Don't you think that having all these different religions causes confusion?
The job of the devil is to steal, kill and destroy. If he can confuse men in how to seek God, if he can make men believe in an alternate path to God instead of the one laid down by God, he can steal their very souls.
So what is the true belief? Every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God. Everyone knows deep in their hearts that God sent his Son Jesus to save mankind. Most choose to not believe it. They would rather believe a lie, just as Adam in the garden of Eden.
Men will be defiant to the end, but when it comes and they are kneeling before the throne of God, they will be forced to give their explanation of why the creation chose to not believe the Creator. Yet, they will have no explanation.

The Jews have G-d, the Father.
The Christians have G-d, the Father, Jesus the son and Jesus became G-d himself.
The Muslims have Allah.
The Buddhists have Buddha, although they don't consider him a god, they follow his teachings.
There are many others, but those seem to be the main ones.

The Christian faith, the Muslim faith and the Jewish faith all say there is only one God. If there is only one, then there can't be others. If anyone believes in additional gods, then either these three religions are false, or the other ones are false. It's that simple.

The God of Judaism, Christianity, and the Islamic Muslims is the same God. He is the "God of gods", so, yes he is considered by these three religions to be God over every person, place and thing regardless of who you are. These three religions all have their origins in the Jewish Old Testament.
Buddhism and Confucianism do not have a god, but emphasize living a life that is based on morality and goodness.
Hinduism has a "pantheon" of gods that has similarities to Judaism and Christianity. Vishnu is similar to the Christian concept of the one true God, who is the God of gods. Shiva is similar the Christian concept of the Spirit of God. Krishna is like Jesus Christ, both religions expect them to return. Jesus to return and initiate the never-ending Kingdom of God. Krishna to return as the tenth avatar to cleanse the world of evil. The four-headed Brahma is similar to the Christian concept of the creator God of Genesis.
There are other religions that are part of ancient civilizations, are not active today and are also, like Hinduism, pantheons, or, groups of gods: Ancient Egypt, with its animal headed gods, ancient Greece with its gods and goddesses from Mount Olympus, and the ancient Romans with their gods and goddesses that were in many cases synonymous to the ancient Greeks.
Then there are many ancient tribal and pagan religions and practices that worship various gods, spirits and beliefs.
Monotheism, or belief in the one God of Judaism, Christianity and Islam is considered by the faithful of these three religions to replace tribal and pagan religions and the ancient religions of mythology, and, is considered to be the true religion of the one true God by billions of faithful throughout the world today.

Kinda depends...
I am wiccan (a polytheist) but I believe that religion is a human invention, and that all gods are aspects of one god. For human convenience, we split divinity into pieces to better understand it. J/C/I split divinity into Jehova/Jesus/Holy Spirit/Allah/Satan/Saints/Demons, a split along (more or less) good and evil. As a wiccan, I visualize divinity as split into masculine and feminine ( like the rest of the world) and further split into individual gods or godesses if I need to work on a particular problem. Regardless of whether I am doing a ritual for Cernunos, Thor, Odin, Brigid, Diana, Ishta, Osiris, or any other deity, it is all the same. The god figure that I chose for the ritual is to help me better connect with deity.
Some wiccans, and other polytheists believe that each god is an actual being. some monotheists think that God and Satan are two seperat beings. As long as it helps them have a better relationship with deity, then their religion is fulfilling it's purpose, and that is not a bad thing.

There are many gods but there is only one True God and His name is Jehovah.
Satan is called the god of this system of things and he is in control of the world of mankind as well as all of false religion.

Well, The Bible speaks about many. Despite the fact that forbids to God's people follow an other.
"For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for?" (Deuteronomy 4,7)
"Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; "Exodus 20, 3-5

Of course there is only one God!!
Otherwise each God would of created men at his own image!
Some of us would have 3 eyes, 2 or three heads, may be 4 arms ( though it would be very helpful at times)

To Christians - God is the Father, His Son, Jesus is our Lord and Savior and the Holy Spirit is our Comforter and Teacher. The three work hand in hand to keep Believers who are in the faith in the knowledge of the truth. To others, their "god" has other names (Muhammad, Allah, etc.) The Word of God has taught us that we shall all behold Him in the end times and every eye shall see him. There is no need to try and convince others of the one true God - they will not believe - but when the day comes that Jesus comes again - there will be no confusion at all.

Buddhists don't have a 'god'. What many use that term to describe is simply all you can see and all you cannot. The entirity is god. It's not a separate force.
