I think you are way over thinking this. You know that all religions can not be correct. I doubt very seriously that all the catholics won't make it into heaven just because the Baptists don't agree with the Catholic teachings. When it is all said and done, at your judgment there will be you and God. When the book of life is opened to see if you should be allowed into heaven, what you will be judged on is what is in your heart. The bible tells us that it is an individual walk for each of us with the Lord. It also says that we all fall short of perfection in his eyes. Thankfully, I believe in a loving and forgiving God, that does not expect perfection, he just wants to see a little progress once in a while. I feel that no matter your religion, we all have the same chance to get into heaven if we have lived with God in our hearts. Who is to say what is the wrong religion? If one church doesn't believe what the other teaches, and the pastor says that they will not go to heaven, is he not guilty of being judgmental? I say find a religion that you can closest relate to and enjoy the fellowship.

G-d didn't make religion people did.
You are just fine .
Follow your own heart. Be true to yourself,All you can do is what you think is best .

Come back to life, convert to the right religion and then die again. Works every time.

I guess you shouldn't do anything at that point....as you will be dead and perhaps there won't be much you can do. But I'm sure the higher power will understand....or, if there isn't one, then of course it wouldn't matter. I would suggest having a personal relationship with a higher power rather than one based on religion and dogma.....or, of course, if you are atheist, than live by your own moral code. I firmly believe the higher power both knows and understands us and is not going to hold us responsible for following paths that *tend* to be dictated by our home and societal rearing. Truth is, no one KNOWS....and the higher power knows that we can't KNOW....and that following the right religion is a guessing game........while following your heart is not.

I am a recent convert to Pastafarianism, but I still lend an ear to the theory of South Park. They claim the Mormons got it right, and even now are up in Heaven eating cake and making interesting things out of egg cartons.

You should do like that guy on 'The Mummy' did, and wear charms from all the religions and learn a few words applicable to each, so that when cornered, you can trick the mummy, or the deity in this case, into thinking you're one of them.

If you're already dead, there won't be many options available to you at that point.

I guess you should put in all the study and contemplation that you can while you're alive to make sure that whatever path you pick is the one YOU believe is the right path for you to take.
