Hello all, I believe in ghosts and just wondered if others did. Now the one that really got me into believing happened to my father about 30 years ago.
To this day, he does not bring it up and it brings tears to his eyes if asked about it. Once night at our house as he was watching TV, he felt someone behind him. He turned around and his mother who had died 2 years prior was standing there smiling at him. He said she looked like she was prior to becoming sick. He said she smiled, he looked away and then she was gone. He said he was not scared, but at peace. It happened again 2 days later when her face was shown at a door entrance and again she was smiling. 2 Days later, his father suddenly died of a heart attack. You probably have to know my dad to actually beleive it, but he is the ONLY person probably that I would ever beleive if told something like this. I really believe him and half to believe in ghosts.

Jesus believed in spirits, in fact, He cast out a few.

Roger Morneau lived to tell of his escape from a spirit-worship cult. See www.revelado.org/cult.htm

Shalom, peace in Jesus, Ben Yeshua

I have to tell you that I have had my experiences with supernatural forces but they are not "ghosts". There are no such thing as ghosts. There are only evil spirits which are demons and good spirits which are angels and no in between. God explicitly says that the dead are dead and they know nothing of the living: "as for the dead, they are consious of nothing at all." (Ecclesiastes 9:5) "their love and ther hate and their jealousy have already perished...for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol (Hebrew word for the grave} Ecclesiastes 9:6, 10
But you may say : if that is true, how can we explain the manifestations and messages that have been received? In our day, countless persons around the earth have had contact with the spirit world by means of mediums, medicine men and other means. Since the dead are unconscious and cannot communicate with the living, from whom do these messages come?

God specifically tells us to consult Him through the Bible and His inspired Word, for guidance. What then of these supernatural encounters? Could it be they come from God's advesary and his demons? Do you think it would be hard for such wicked angels to masquerade as or pretend to be the dead and thus deceive persons? No not at all especially when we consider the Bible that calls Satan a liar and father of lies. Some messages and encounters you have seem to be good and helpful right? Well Paul the Apostle has a good answer for that: "there is nothing surprising about that; Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light". It is therefore a simple thing for his agents to appear as agents of good.

These encounters that you call "ghosts" are nothing but demons impersonating the living. They are able to prohesize future events to an extent. But then again they will be deceitful in their ways. Bless you house in the name of the
Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost and get rid of these evil spirits. Because they will slowly lead you off course and lead you farther away from God himself.

What a wonderful story. I am a paranormal researcher and I need to read these kinds of stories once in a while. We get so caught up in the scientific part of research that we sometimes need reminded that these are real people. Dont pay any attention to those yelling "demons". I believe your Dad saw his Mother. I have seen mine too.
