Me and my fiance have been through a lot this summer are are really rocky to say the least. We nearly broke up all summer. We live together and he left for days at a time b/c things were not good and we were fighting a lot. Anyway... we agreed that we would try to work it out and if we feel the same way in 30 days, then we break up. I'm just finding it so hard to put my best foot forward in working things out when I'm so sad that we may not end up together. We have been together for 11 years. I can't picture my life w/o him. I never thought it would come down to this. He doesn't seem to be making ANY effort which also really upsets me but if I say anything he gets really mad. Any advice... what should i do?????

If you two have given yourselves 30 days to work things out, and he's not putting any effort in, what does that tell you?
I am so sorry, but you can't keep a relationship going, when only one person is interested in doing so. Its like trying to run a three legged race, when the other person refuses to move. You may be able to drag the other with you, but its so tiring and eventually you realize its not worth the effort. Be kind to yourself, and if this is truly over, give yourself permission (and time) to grieve the loss, and then move on with your life.
