Lost my ID and passport, I cannot renew until I show them a birth certificate. Cannot obtain birth certificate without an ID or passport. Any help would be great.

It's forms of IDs not particular IDs. You are stating common ones, but it's something like three IDs with 1 or 2 being photo IDs. My boss's wife was able to get my birth certificate. Other forms of ID include credit card, social security card, bills with your name on it, library card, school ID, W-2 form etc.

This recently happened to me as well.
The only thing I have to show the DMV is my Social card and perhaps proof of residence, like a utility bill.
I don't have my B.Cert as well and it takes awhile to get one w/out proper ID

total Catch-22.
hope u resolve your situation too

You should be able to get your birth certificate. It is public record. Go to the county where you were born, pay a fee. It should be that easy.

Your DMV should issue you a temporary driver license without any ID. They will check your new picture against the one in their computer database.
