Do you know of another Message Board, one that doesn't allow hateful xians to flag you until you're banned?

I'm curious. I give well-educated, well-researched, answers. I thought that is what this site is supposed to be about.

But hateful, angry christians with low self-esteem go through each Q&A string, and flag like crazy -- any and every Q or A that they don't agree with. I have no idea what number screen-name i'm on now...but i had to start over again...

It doesn't matter that the question or answer is correct, or even GOOD. If they disagree with it, then they hate you, and send off a complaint.

Do any of you know of any other message boards where xian haters cannot squelch free speech? Where people can share different points of view without christians ruining the site with their petty nonsense and bias?

It would be nice to find a board that encourages a free exchange of ideas without bieng penalized for being real, educated, intelligent, logical, blunt/honest, and having a non-christian point of view. Any suggestions or ideas?

How do I know they are xians? That part is easy. They are the same people (like Backlashing Catholic and hisgloryisgreat, below) who send hate-mail to my account, lecture me about jesus and bible bible bible in private e-mails, telling me how wrong i am for not being xian, and yes, they actually tell me they are going to falg all my answers. Those two didn't asnwer the question, below, they felt a need to rant. I asked for the information about a nother message board -- they took it as another opportunity to rant, but NOT ANSWER THE QUESTION. Yet, they and a few others had to go out of their way to tell me that I WAS THE ONE violating the Y!A rules here??

THAT is how i know it is xians doing it. They threaten to do it, and then they actually do it!! And they do it to other people on here, too.

Don't act like it's such a surprise that they are single-handedly the biggest group of biased, vengeful haters on this board!! It's not like it's news to anyone!!

You forgot to list the QUESTION i was answering, hon! The question was asking What is the meaning of eating Jesus? in a biblical context.

My answer was to point out that it is in reference to a cannibalistic ritual that xians and some other bible-cultists do each weekend in cult gatherings.

I don't think that it's running afoul to claim that pretending to drink blood and eat flesh at an altar (cannibalism) is outrageous, given that we are in 2007 and hopefully getting a little more educated. But to do that and encourage children to watch and participate is SICK! That is certainly a valid and educated opinion. And for you to go off in a knee-jerk reply, again, shows xian hatred for people and their other points of view.

I think there's nothing wrong with an educate person claiming that it is SICK for people to do cannibalistic rituals each week, and to encourage young kids to watch and partake. It is neanderthal and foul.

there is little or no moderation except if you talk too much crap and don't back it up (mostly in the martial arts main board) or are blatantly racist.

I've notion approximately this to. There was once a believer the opposite day that was once mocking atheist persons via calling April fools day their day on account that the fellow mentioned that a idiot says in his center that there is not any God. I did not believe dangerous that he was once misrepresenting the gospel up to I felt dangerous that persons had been being degraded. I questioned if I will have to step in like I have performed earlier than however I wasn't definite if I will have to preserve doing that. I consider that it could be greater if those forms of query weren't spoke back however then again one of the responses could have made the fellow consider. You ask why this kind of conduct is displayed? I could say it's both on account that the man or woman is hating or they're looking to pay again evil for evil, both approach it is despicable. I have no idea if there's fairly an answer for this or no longer. Edit: I simply learn your illustration. Maybe you will have to submit that question. I consider now a days persons are kicking the vulnerable or wounded .That's ashame whilst persons are hurting like that to have such impolite feedback.

I've read some of your answers, and it seems to me that you equate "well-educated and well-researched" with snide and disrespectful. Per the Answers community guidelines, ranting and hate speech are reportable offenses, which is why, I imagine, you have been reported in the past. It's perfectly okay if you don't have any respect for Christianity; you have every right to your opinion. If you want to express that opinion in your usual manner, however, you will probably have trouble on these boards. Might I suggest the following:

http://atheistanon.proboards18.com/ - Their TOS requires that posters respect one another and refrain from inflammatory remarks, however, so this might not be the best site for you.

http://atheistrevolution.blogspot.com/ - not a forum, but this person appears to hate Christianity as much as you seem to. There are some links to atheist websites, forums, and resources on the main blog page.

Given your posting style, I think you should probably seek out forums where Christians just don't post. Then you can say whatever you want and you won't have to worry about about being reported for hate speech. I hope you find somewhere you like better than Yahoo Answers. Good luck!

It's not just 'xians'. I've been reported for giving accurate answers too. It's just part of life among these Yahoos.

I'm Christian (or "xian" as you feel like calling me).

I certainly don't mind reasonable, thought out questions or answers. I believe in honest, open discussion and debate.

I do NOT use the "report it" button.

I would seriously doubt that it's just "xians" who are into "petty nonsense and bias". Not having seen your questions OR answers (that I can recall), I don't know if you have a habit of being reasonable and responsible -OR- if you have a habit of being rude, perverted and offensive.

Can you provide examples of some of your answers that we flagged/reported?

Did you appeal the violation notice(s) with Y!A? If so, what was their response? If not, why not?

How do you know that it is "xians" who are flagging/reporting you? (other than "I know it's them because they're the ones doing it!")

By the way, were you told that Christians reported anything? It is my understanding that the name of a person who reports you is not given out. For all you know a jew or a Muslim might report you for your "well-researched, well-educated" and "respectful" answers.

There are a lot of other forums. This one has the most action by far though.

1- make your questions private.
2- they have this new system to try to flag people who over report and to trust people who do report properly more. I am more than willing to give that a shot.
3- be careful about new users who add you as a contact. If it looks weird, block them.

I make it a point to give +1 to answers that are well-thought-out and helpful, even if I don't agree with them (and as long as they're not blatantly insulting to me as a Christian).

How do you know that some Christian users aren't suffering the same bias? How do you know that it doesn't happen on both sides?

I'm sorry that your good posts were flagged badly. Maybe the new moderation system will help. In the meantime, thanks for trying, and for setting a good example.

For all you know, it could be Muslims reporting you. I didn't realize that Yahoo told people which religion the people who reported them adhere to. They certainly never told me!

You ASSUME that you've been reported by Christians...and you know what they say about assuming, right?

Give it another try. I'm willing to listen to anyone, as long as they're intelligent and at least somewhat open-minded. And most Christians on here are like me.

Dude, Xians are not hateful. Look at Christians that learn from Jesus:
"But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you." (Luke 6:27,28)
Hateful are those wanting you to hate Christians or beginners who don't know much. Many pretend to be Christians and in turn make a Xian hateful out of you before you realize it.
