Questioning our faith?? Don't we all time to time. I believe the Bible, God's Holy Word and with that I do believe.

Questioning one's faith is essential to it. Questioning is the growing edge of understanding.

It is by our questioning that our understandings become our own. If we never question what we have been taught, or examine our understanding of those teachings, then we can expect of ourselves little more that compliance with dictum, but can never hope for a deepened comprehension of the unfolding mystery of God. It is by questioning that we enter into the risk and adventure of a life of faith. It is by a thoughtful, disciplined, courageous and prayerful questioning of our faith that it becomes vital.

We can have confidence that the very act of questioning our faith in God will ultimately strengthen that faith because, paradoxically, every reflection about God depends upon God.

"Therefore you mustn't lose your courage and confidence, for it will bring you a great reward. You see, you must patiently hold on to your faith so that you will do what God wants and thus receive what He has promised."Hebrews 10:35-36

"So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge--that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God." Ephesians 3:17-19 NIV

I pray to God through His Son Jesus Christ the prayer:
Thanks be unto God for His wonderful gift:
Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God
is the object of our faith; the only faith
that saves is faith in Him.

I started questioning my faith ever since I started going to church as a kid...

I always loved history but the bible simply didn't make sense.
I wanted to really consider what I believed...(thinking god could...read my thoughts? was scary, stopped me from blatantly questioning it)
After I stopped going to church, and stopped fearing hell
It became much easier to realize real

No not really. I think they are afraid that they will find that they are wrong.
