Im just wondering if people have used their hair care products, and if you think it compares to the real product.

I like the tea tree oil products too. The shampoo doubles as a great body wash in the summer, its cool and refreshing plus it is antibacterial, anti fungal, and antiseptic. (These are all properties of the tea tree oil.) This is wonderful considering that we get in so much trouble in the summertime with all that bare skin...not to mention cuts from more frequent shaving, and heat and humidity related fungus problems.

Anyway, GVP is for all practical purposes, the same as it's brand name counterpart. You are buying a product that has been duplicated after the original company's exclusive rights to the formula have expired.

However you may not be dealing with the same kind of company. Things like fair trade practices for exotic ingredients, and the way employees are treated, and their policy on animal cruelty, etc. You may find that you don't want to support this with your purchase of a cheaper product. I also don't know that this is true about GVP. You would have to research that yourself, and compare it with the business practices of the originator of the product you are interested in.

Some people say that knockoffs like GVP are not as concentrated, so even though they are cheaper you use more and it ends up costing the same. I have never found this to be the case. And most of the time, we use too much product anyway, we could use less or dilute our products and get the same performance. So I wouldn't worry about that.
