1. JFK died because somebody shot him. It wasn't God's will. God's will is "You shall not kill."
2. Women get raped because people do evil things to each other. It's not God's will. God's will is to honor the marriage bed and keep it holy.
3. Millions of children starve because people are greedy and they refuse to look at the hungry while they stuff themselves full of good things and throw the rest away. It's not God's will. Jesus told us to feed the hungry.
4. There is death in the world because death is part of life. Death isn't a bad thing. Everybody and every living thing dies. Death IS God's will -- it's a chance for us to leave the sinful world and go to something better.
5. There is hate in the world because people are selfish and self-centered. It's not God's will. Jesus told us to love one antoher.
6. There are wars because people and nations are power-hungry, greedy, short-sighted, etc. It's not God's will for there to be wars.
7. Bad things happen because nobody's perfect and because our world is in a state of disintegration (even the rotation around the sun is declining). But whether we judge something to be good or bad doesn't mean it's good or bad in the long run. For example, once I was fired for something I didn't do because my boss was trying to protect himself. It was wrong for me to get fired, and it put my family in jeapardy because I was out of work. However, I ended up getting a job I really like that I never would have applied for if I *hadn't* been fired. And I only went one day without pay, which was very manageable. So even stuff that looks "bad" to us, God can use for good.
8. I do believe that God is trying to stop these things from happening. I used to be a liar and a cheat and all sorts of other things that were not good and hurt other people as well as myself. Then God got to me and started teaching me how He really wants me to live. Now I volunteer for a soup kitchen, manage a warm-clothing drive for the homeless each winter, recycle, tell the truth, behave respectfully toward other people, donate to various charities and raise my kids to do the same.
I know a lot of people complain about "free will," but I personally think free will is a gift. I can MAKE my children behave the way I want them too, or I can teach them the value of feeding the hungry, telling the truth, etc. so that they WANT to behave this way. The second is much, much better, and I am glad that God respectfully takes that tactic with us.

We have tons of suffering in this world due to our sins. God created this world to be without sin or hurt. But, when Adam and Eve sinned, things changed for mankind. There was now a deep chasm between God's holiness and our sinfulness. These two things cannot physically exist together.
The best part is, God saw the mess we got ourselves into, and sent Christ to die for our sins. He took the place of us so that we don't have to live an eternity separated from God (remember, holiness and sinfulness cannot physically exist together).
Why does God not stop these things? He knows there is plenty of work still to be done on earth. In His mercy, He wants more people to find everlasting life before He ends it all. Revelation talks about the final days and His victory over death and destruction.

Good question and many ask it when they question their own faith in God. I have even questioned God and I gained my faith back by reading the Bible and God speaking to me through His own Words....
Where is God? If He is God and in charge of this Universe, why does He allow the world to continue on its course of destruction? Why doesn't he put an end to all the cruel and bizarre things happening in our society? Habakkuk the prophet questioned God and wondered where he was when bad things happened. There are some who would believe that God who is a God of love, mercy, and compassion, does not have a thing to do with the evil that exists in the world. And they wonder what does that say about His power, authority and involvement in the affairs of men.
In the Book of Habakkuk 1:2-3, 13
Habakkuk the prophet asks the same thing:
How long oh Lord will I call for help, and thou wilt not hear? I cry out to thee, "violence!" Yet thou does not save. Why dost thou make me see iniquity, and cause me to look on wickedness?...Why dost thou look with favor on those who deal treacherously? Why art thou silent when the wicked swallow up those more righteous than they?
When Habakkuk asks these questions to God... God answers not only to Habakkuk but to those who doubt His existence and His power and authority.
If you often ask these questions and want an understanding read the book of Habakkuk which is only three chapters long. The book is a conversation between the prophet and his God. Note when God is talking and when Habakkuk is. Highlight all his questions and the answers God gives. Maybe your faith will grow and you will understand better why bad things happen in the world and God is nowhere to answer your call.

JFK died because it was his time. Women get raped because of the lack of Morals taught in the schools and at home. Millions of Children Starve because of many reasons, no of which is God's fault. People commit sucide because satan makes it seem to them there is no hope. There is much death, death happens because it's part of life. There is hate because Satan wants everyone to be like him, miserable, full of hate. There is wars because of Satan and evil men who want to be bullies to other nations. Bad things happen because we are human and give into the inticings of Satan. He doesn't because we as humans need to learn the harsh realities that earth life brings, it helps us become stronger. He let's the evils of the world so he can fully judge everyman for their acts.

Its an issue of sovereignty. Satan challenged God's right to rule in the Garden of Eden. By telling Eve she would be like God the Devil was slapping God in the face. If God would have started from scratch at that moment, what would it have proved other than his power? By giving humans the right of way to rule themselves under the Devils influence, he has proven that they can't do it themselves. And he has given ample time, so it can't be brought back to him that we needed more time. He WILL put an end to it. Think of a parent having to teach their child a painful lesson. The process is anything but pleasant, but in the end, things will go right, and unlike a human parent, God has the power to undo any harm caused, raise people from the dead, and even wipe out bad memories. It's more than just a lesson, it's an issue of his right to rule.

Because he was shot.
Because some men are pigs and feel the need to physically dominate a woman.
Because we are driven by economics, not by feelings.
Because life sucks.
Without death and hate, there would be no life or love.
Because people disagree and think that killing the opposition is a good place to start.
Without bad, there would be no good.
I dont believe in God. THats why he lets it happen.

Because sin is the cause of evil, not God. Sin entered the world when Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the garden of Eden. All disease, sickness, hatred, horror, is a result of sin snowballing down throught the centuries. God is not responsible for sin.
One day there will come a time when God will step in, and put an end to all this suffering. But on that day, there will be no more salvation available to anyone. Today, God is giving people a chance to think about their sins, repent and accept His son. The day when He comes to rule and reign, knees will be forced to bow, you will not have the choice to bow.

For the same reason you had the ability to ask this question. "FREE WILL". God gave each one of us free will. Have you ever lied or stolen something even If It was small ? Hated someone ? Then we are no different In God's eye's. Sin Is Sin,It's all the same. I have received forgiveness for my sins. Have You ? Whosoever calls upon the Name Of The Lord Shall be SAVED. Repent & ask Jesus Into your heart. Before It's too late. If we confess our sins,God Is faithfull & just to forgive us...

Stuff Happens, Deal with it...
Bad things happening doesn't disprove the existence of a deity, just like good things happening doesn't prove the existence of a deity.
All it shows is Stuff Happens.

If it was Adam’s decision to disobey God that brought sin into the world, why do we ALL have to suffer punishment?
If we are honest with ourselves, we will realize that Adam is a fair representative for all of us. If a perfect person in a perfect place decided to disobey God’s rules, none of us would have done better. Romans 5:12 says, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” We all inherit Adam’s sin nature. We all sin, so we all deserve to die and suffer eternal punishment in hell. We must understand that not one of us is innocent before God. Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Not one of us is worthy to stand before the Creator of the universe because we would each bring a sinful, rebellious nature into His presence.
In the beginning God completely sustained His creation without blemish. That’s why it was perfect. He held every atom together in a perfect state. He kept the planets in their orbits. He kept animals from tripping and breaking their necks. He did not allow people to suffer and die.
Deuteronomy 8:4 gives us a little glimpse of how things might have been in the original creation. “Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.” God is omnipotent and perfectly capable of sustaining and protecting his creation.
When Adam sinned, however, the Lord cursed the universe. In essence there was a change and along with that change God seemingly took away a little bit of his sustaining power and allowed things like suffering and death into His creation. Now He permits bad things to happen—and this is a reminder that sin has consequences and that the world needs a Savior. Romans 8:22 says, “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.”
God took pleasure in all of His creation ("http://bible.gospelcom.net/bible?passage=revelation+4:11&version=NKJV"), but He loved people most of all. He allowed the created universe to deteriorate so we would see the consequences of our sin. If we did not see the consequences of our sin, we would never see that we need salvation from our sin, and we would never accept His offer of mercy for our sin. Most people easily recognize that there is a problem in the world. This can be used to show them that there is one who has overcome this problem of death and suffering—Jesus Christ.
