Does anyone know the approximate number of hours to fly from New York or Newark to Russia?

I am curious to know how long it would take to get to Russia by airplane non stop from Newark, NJ or New York.

A direct flight from JFK to Moscow would be approx. 9 Hrs 25 Min. The flight from Newark is approx. the same. You can get flight times for airports all over the world at https://www.jets.com/

I did a quick check on Expedia and the norm seems to be between about 14.5 and 17 hours. This is including the weird stops that Expedia puts in there.
