Steer clear from soda, juices, and eat bland foods. Rice with cooked carrots is something I often eat when my IBS acts up- immodium is good but may cause bloating and cramps- I would take no more than one caplet.
No caffeine like coffee or tea either. Drink water, and stick with a dry diet until it straightenes itself out.

You have to let it run its course but you can try imodium to ease your diarrhea symptoms. If it is severe drink plenty of water and if it doesn't improve in 48 hours see a doctor.

doctors say the brat diet is best. which is bananas rice applesauce and toast. good luck
