Piers aren't that great but in Northern they have the Liberty State Park. There is also the Palisades Boat Basin where you can fish and picnic on the Hudson. For South Jersey there is Margate near Atlantic City. There is also Cape May, but where I fish is in Brigantine which is near Atlantic City also. Great location for stripers, bluefish, weakfish, croaker. There are alot of jettys near Brigantine and it is also a beach. Great fishing location. Since you fish in NJ and want more info go to www.stripersurf.com for my info. the forum is basically fisherman that fish all in NJ in delaware, ocean, etc. From northern to south jersey.

In south Jersey try Wildwood State Park. Better fishing, nevertheless, is at Cape May.

on LBI (Long Beach Island) there are several public fishing piers in Ship Bottom, Surf City, and Brant Beach. There's also the jetty pier at Barnegat Light.
