No, you will die and be a corpse. You need at least 1400 to live. It is better to burn more calories and be healthier.

in a word... yes!
if you're on a low cal diet go with 800, and make it healthy food, then you won't be starving because you'll be suprised how much food you can eat for that amount
eating as little as you say, well you will either give up because its too hard, or develop an eating disorder, either aint so great. i wont bore you with details because i'm sure you have plenty of lectures already which you didn't ask for!
but hey, my average a day of 700 - 1000 cals (as long as it is healthy food) and maybe 2 hrs of brisk walking and 1/2 hr of exercise leaves me fit healthy slim and not hungry all the time. by the way i am 107 lbs and 5'7, but i think still losing weight... slowly! lol i don't know how thin you want to be, if slimmer than i am try things like a morning run (increases metabolic rate) or 100 cals less a day or more exercise or whatever works for you really, but your diet seems a little drastic, if i ate that little i would just be hungry and thinking of food all the time! sorry for the rant, hope i helped!

Initially you will, but your body will get used to that amount of calories and hoard any extra ones. Ultimately you'll put on more weight. Best to keep the calorie intake around the 1500 mark to keep the weight off for good. You'll be surprised how much you'll lose even on 1500 a day. I should mention that 250-500 is a bit on the dangerous side healthwise too. Once you're at the size you want to be, creep it back up to 2000 a day to maintain.

you will be starving yourself.
You lose weight by eating less calories then you burn... if you would lie in bed all day and do nothing you body would burn 1200 + calories depend on your age/weight/muscle mass/metabolism etc. Which is your RMR (Resting Metabolic Rate)
It is stupid to eat less then that b/c your body will that that it's starving and go into ketosis - which basically means that it will start to store everything that you eat b/c it's not getting enough.
Do a google search to find a RMR calculator and don't eat less then that number of calories.
Just think, everything else you do that day, walking, driving, watching tv, your still burning calories and they will help you lose

It's just not enough to sustain you for very long. We forget that food is somthing we need. It's just not a fun thing. Without enough of it we will die or get sick. This notion that some people say it will make your body retain fat is a nonsense fad IMO that has no purpose other then selling books. I've never seen a starving person who was fat. Look at refugees and POW's during war. none of them got fatter. Make sense? Reducing your calories will make you lose weight. But you need to eat enough to keep you healthy. Just like you need a certain amount of water, you need a certain amount of food. I've lost 40 lbs by simply reducing my calories. I've gotten used to eating less. I never got fatter b/c I ate less.

Only til you start eating more again then you will put on even more weight, becaue your body will think it needs to store up fat for the next time you starve it! Don't be stupid, if you want to loose weight then get up and move! Quit eating the fast foood and junk food and drink water instead of soda, you'll loose weight!

for a short period of time and then as you will not be able to sustain this calorie intake your will start putting on weight again and end up heavier than you were before. This is precisely why diets do not work, life style changes do. exercise daily, and take in no more than 1500 calories and you will be fine.

The answer is YES!!! You will lose weight, all your weight for the body needs at least 1000 to 2000 calories to exist. If you continue we all might say farewell to you.
