What are the signs that tells us that the Apocalypse is near?

there are so many that we see today. i will list a few...

1. modern nations on earth (not historic nations) at the time of Jesus Christ's 2nd coming (dan. 7:11-12, :23) ...
lion = great britain; bear = russia; eagle = u.s.; leopart = germany; the 10-horned beast = the revival of the holy roman empire.
3 of these nations are permanent members of the security council.

2. the 6th trumpet war (ww3) begins in the area of the Euphrates River, where we now have 160,000 U.S. troops. this war awaits the catalyst which enables it to spin out of control & 2 billion will die. the u.s. attack on iran w/in a year could be this catalyst. (rev. 9:13-16)
this happens 7 years before the return of Jesus.

3. israel's 3rd temple is about to be rebuilt.
the temple will be finished & in use 3 1/2 years before Jesus comes back.
- the sanhedrin began meeting in 2006 (the 1st time in 2000 years) & is deciding what part of the temple mount on which to build. plans are being drawn up for the temple now. they have decided to begin building the temple offisite.
- the furniture for the temple is done.
- the priests have been trained.
- they have found a 3-year old red heifer for animal sacrifices
- in march of this year, the sanhedren bought a heard of sheep to prepare for animal sacrifies

4. olmert & abbas are working on a peace deal they say will be finished by this november. it includes all areas of contention that the "confirmation of the covenant" will have to address. (dan. 9:27) the antichrist will be one, not who signs the agreement, but who agrees w/ it.... which means he is alive on the earth now... he just doesn't know he is the antichrist... nor does anyone else at this point. we will know who he is when he stands in the rebuilt jewish temple proclaiming that he is God.

5. the Real ID Act of 2005 (which is now law & is to be implemented 5/11/08... less than 1 year) is laying the groundwork for the mark of the beast, which will be enacted during the last 3 1/2 years before Jesus returns.

6. the 1st 5 trumpets have already blown... the 6th is in the process. (Jesus returns at the 7th ... the last trumpet).

we are very close.
the signs are clear. Jesus gave us bible prophecy so we would know the times we are living in ... so we would be ready. scripture tells us that Jesus returns as a thief ONLY to those who are NOT ready ... for we are children of the day, & not of the night that that day will overtake us as a thief....

"But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day:
we are not of the night, nor of darkness. "

doesnt matter cause there is not going to be one. I watched a preacher dude on tv and he talked about a world war and a % of the world dieing, and guess what it was the exact percent from ww2. Over 2 thousand years, i am sure everything that could be thought of has happened or will happen simply bacause thats what happens over time. Plus vague statements help to, look up the forer effect and Cognitive bias. It will explain how these things work.

Hope you have an open mind, otherwise there is no point in even thinking cause you will always end up at the same bias, one sided, most likely wrong answer

no there will never be an apocalypse as described in the bible as man has interpreted no horsemen or metaphoric horse men i.e airplanes ridden by any angle will cast plague or take up to heaven only the true believers revelations is suppose to scare the heck out of people so they will live their lives to a higher standard and well frankly its their life so good for them however no false profits for me no apocalypse for me just man on man till the end of time or my eyes are closed for good and on that day ill smile for I know i lived as a man with a sense of life and treated others as i wanted to be reated (most of the time )lol. but rest assure the end will be when the earths orbit around the sun get to close to it and for no other reason and there is plenty of proof to support it even if there is a nuclear war man will still be here on earth and then there will be a new look at life again and hopefully we realize that space exploration is far more interesting than what their doing in the middle east for its still a mystery and not the same ole same ole struggle for control which just in case there is someone who doesn't realize this control is an illusion and a state of mind .

How We Know We Are in "the Last Days"

HOW can we be sure that we are living at the time when God's Kingdom will take action against this present system of human rule? How can we know that we are very close to the time when God will bring an end to all wickedness and suffering?

The disciples of Jesus Christ wanted to know those things. They asked him what "the sign" would be of his presence in Kingdom power and "of the conclusion of the system of things." (Matthew 24:3) Jesus answered by detailing world-shaking events and conditions that would combine to show that mankind had entered "the time of the end," "the last days" of this system of things. (Daniel 11:40; 2 Timothy 3:1) Have we in this century seen that composite sign? Yes, we have, abundantly so!

The existence of Israel and the fact that every nation that surrounds Israel has gone to war against Israel. I remember something about a blood red moon being a sign of the end. (I've seen a two of those) And 666 being on almost everything we buy and sell. (the bar code I'd explain more on that but it would take a while) The spread of AIDS, cancers, and heart disease. (otherwise known as the spread of degenerative diseases) And the UN as a global government. I can keep on going.

According to Fatima Russia is supposed to attack the U.S. According to confusing biblical prophecies China is supposed to do the same. (sound familiar)
